your degreed, had a real job, are married and carrying a child who was concievied intentionally (and your marriage was an oops I’m knocked up maybe we should get married).

Well, that’s an opinion. 🙂 I don’t think that being a boy or a girl is something that anyone ever fully grows out of.
I *like* being just some girl. 🙂 Just some woman doesn’t have the same ring.
I’ve always been fond of the terms “chic” and “dude” or “guy”. They’re (for the most part (inoffensive terms used to denote gender- but not age the way “girl” or “woman” does.
I feel you. I prefer girl to woman as well. I don’t see it as an age thing as an attitude thing, somehow.
